Elisabeth Howard holds a B.S. and M.S. in voice from the Juilliard School and is on the voice faculty of Pepperdine University. She has also taught voice at Indiana University, University of Southern California and Hunter College in New York City. Elisabeth maintained a private vocal studio for twenty years in New City before moving to Los Angeles where she founded the Vocal Power Academy.
Elisabeth has trained certified Vocal Power Instructors in Los Angeles, Italy, Brazil, Germany, Texas and a Vocal Power Academy branch in Las Vegas.
Clients have appeared on American Idol, Star Search, TV series, film, recording, Broadway, Off-Broadway and National tours. Ms. Howard is the author of SING! book and 4 CDs and the ABC's of Vocal Harmony book and CD's and co-author of the Born to Sing DVD distributed by Alfred Publishing. Ms. Howard is a member of Actors Equity Association, AFTRA and is a voting member of the Grammy organization, NARAS. Elisabeth Past President of the Los Angeles chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS). Elisabeth had a singer song writing contract with MCA Music.
