Happy New Year to all my friends! I had a marvelous time in Paris and then in Ravenna, Italy last October, where I gave workshops in the opera house for the Conference "La Voce Artistica," organized by Dr. Franco Fussi. This is a major event in Italy that happens every two years and features speakers and workshop presenters and master classes of prominent voice teachers laryngologists and and performances of great Italian singers for five days. Seth Riggs was one of the speakers and gave a speech and singing techniques on Sunday morning for three hours. I was given three hours Saturday afternoon in the opera House and Geoff had an hour and a half on American Diction for Singers right after me. I am attaching the English translation from the review I received in French from the Paris trip which came a few days before Ravenna. In Paris I taught for the music school Glottes - Trotters, where I gave private and group lessons - 15  hours in two days. John Glenn Paton was kind enough to translate the review for me.
